Our People
Vinny
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Vinny is the Glasgow Saints Technical Director and is responsible for designing the Saints Football Blueprint and Technical Model.
In partnership with our team managers and Head of Football Performance, Vinny delivers coaching sessions based on the above blueprint but also tweaks and designs delivery based on the input of other coaches and of course players.
Vinny has designed a co-creative model for planning and execution of the Saints Way and has built a significant data set by asking players and coaches to reflect on each session and provide feedback based on specific elements of team and individual performance.
As a key part of our delivery team, Vinny (as with all our volunteers) is fully committed to the club values and given his “day job” experiences working in sport and community impact he is a great fit for the volunteering workforce at Saints.

Iggi

Laurie (Iggi) Keith is the manager of the Glasgow Saints Squad.
Laurie is in charge of selection both on matchday and throughout the season. Laurie works in partnership with the coaching staff and his Assistant Manager to ensure a great match day experience for the squad players and the club. Laurie questions, has discussions, and takes data from the whole football department but has the final say and responsibility as to matchday and all players within Glasgow Saints Squad.

Laurie works to identify areas of weakness that can be improved and implement plans to work on said improvements. Laurie liaises with Liam Cairney (Dennistoun Saints) throughout the season to try and make sure all the clubs’ players are getting the best they can from their football experience.

Liam
MANAGER, DENNISTOUN SAINTS
Liam Cairney is the manager of Dennistoun Saints, a role he balances with his position as head of H.R. on the GSFC board.
Much like Laurie Keith’s role as manager of Glasgow Saints, Liam’s role is to focus on the wellbeing and mental aspects of player management, allowing the coaching staff to hone technical skills whilst he observes training throughout the week and balances the form of players and what each specific game requires from a tactical standpoint.
Man management and game management are the main aspects of Liam’s role, which he balances with great promise, guiding Dennistoun Saints to a safe position within the GCCL after inheriting a side sitting at the bottom of the table due to a tough run of fixtures, and finishing as the form side in the bottom half of the split in the second half of the season.
