In September 2025, Glasgow Saints hosted a thrilling Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser, where teams raced across the city cracking clues about Glasgow's iconic landmarks to unlock their next location.
The fastest team with the most correct answers claimed the top prize, whilst raising vital funds for the club and the incredible Glasgow Street Aid charity.
Setting off from the Lea Rig pub on Alexandra Parade in Glasgow's East End, teams tackled 37 questions as they sprinted through the city. The route took participants along Duke Street, past the historic Tennent’s Brewery, up to the Glasgow Necropolis, around Glasgow Cathedral, down through the Merchant City, and into the bustling City Centre before finishing on Buchanan Street. The day concluded at The Clubhouse in Princes Square, where everyone gathered to socialise over well-deserved drinks and snacks. The raffle proved hugely popular, with winners announced alongside the victorious Scavenger Hunt team. West Brewery generously donated four brewery tour tickets as the prize for the winning team.
Thanks to Barratt Homes matching all donations, Glasgow Saints raised an impressive total of just over £2,000, which went towards the club and Glasgow Street Aid. These funds will make a significant difference to Glasgow Saints as we continue providing inclusive football to our community through our two men's teams, our women and non-binary team, and our autism and neurodivergent team. The money raised will also greatly support Glasgow Street Aid, a pre-hospital medical and welfare charity that helps tackle pressure on both the ambulance service and A&E departments by providing on-scene care across Glasgow, ensuring people receive the right care in the right place.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this fantastic community event!
